Ok, so maybe this isn't the "most dangerous airport or approach" ever, but this is definitely a fun and challenging approach and is daunting enough that it makes my category of "Most Dangerous Approaches."
The approach here is the Visual into RWY 1 at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (KDCA) in Washington D.C (aka. "Mount Vernon River Visual").

Aircraft: B737-800 Delta Repaint
Realism: Set to Hard
Scenery: Default Scenery Used

  • why is it so dangerous?

  • LOL,.......So I was bored and decided to search for where I use to work and came across this video. I was an Air Traffic Controller @ DCA for 8 years, and the controller you hear talking is me. Talk about WOW ! My Son & I just listened to it and he said,....."That's You".

  • @tchapman1977 I'm using fsx but ive never heard the 737 callout the altitude but thatnks for the website i definitely get some more planes

  • I know this was a while ago... but the landing you're talking about actually comes from the opposite direction. The one where you can't use ILS and have to follow the Potomac.

  • @tehnoobzpwnerrofl I don't know which ones that have it, but you can check on Flightsim (dot ) com or Avsim (dot) com under panels & just try the freeware ones until you find one you like that has that feature. If you're using FSX, then the default 737 panel should have them already, though...if you're using FS2004, then you'll have to find a freeware add-on panel that has it.

  • @tchapman1977 Where can i find thos panel configuration tab i would like to have the call outs
