It should be no surprise that state after state has rejected same sex marriage through a state referendum, majority can almost never have the power to vote on the rights of a minority group.

Even when legislations are decided in the legislature, it is still not a place we can see justice prevail. So it should be no surprised that the resolution that deemed the UN Gaza report led by Richard Goldstone, to be irredeemably biased and unworthy of further consideration or legitimacy was passed in U.S Congress by a vote of 344 - 36.

Oh , it must horribly illegitimate to consider any evidence that reported both Israel and Hamas have committed war crimes. That kind of conclusion is worthless, especially if you are a U.S politician on capital hill.

Unfortunately, Canada is no better on that front. It is sickening when people think I am some anti semities who think Jews destroy everything or controls everything because I am a harsh critic of Israel, it is just as frustrating and scary to hear from our government that suggesting Israel is guilty of Apartheid can be considered as anti-Semitism.

Its not easy to dismiss the Goldstone report out of hand, because first Goldstone is Jewish himself and he deeply believes in the existence of Israel and he did not initially want to study what has happened in Gaza earlier this year, because he believed that rocket attack on civilian in southern Israel. But he decided to finally accepted the mandate for the mission because he believes in the so called rule of law or principles that exist in armed conflict that occur among civilians.

To his critics, Goldstone suggested that the report is critical of both parties, Hamas and Israel.

If we want to have true legal equality for all groups of people, jewish, Palestinians, gays or whatever you are, I think we need be clearly united to support the humanity in everyone of our souls. I think the enemy is a sense of entitlement, that we should be more equal than them.

  • So despite them being consistent leftists you think they are thoughtless as you are on Israel, and that they're more important then the %64 of Americans that support her.

    Don't ever claim openness again.

  • any minority group is vital for the democrats since most election is lost and won based on a few percentage point.

  • Pardon me, I should have known better then to think you were that perceptive. I was satirically illustrating what the situation would look like if the shoe was on the other foot, with the token demographical figure administrating an unfathomably skewed and vapid investigation to be used as unquestionable political capital.

And now comes the all-powerful "jew vote" that constitutes %3 of the electorate and is 73% left-to-center.

What will it ever take to make you look at yourself?

  • You dont have to worry about what I think. The only people who can stop Israel from her Aparthied is Israelie and American Jewish people themselves. American politicans will not move an inch on Israel without the good wills of the vital Jewish voters.

And the Judge is not Arab Muslim, he is Jewish, and he supports Israel's right to exist.

  • WASHINGTON: Congress unanimously approves of Arab Muslim Judge's findings (based primarily on 2nd hand Israeli testimonies) of war crimes on the part of Hamas, despite noted flaws such as concealed evidence, Mossad intimidation, and bizarrely contrived legal conclusions.

When asked for comment DSN called it "a victory for equality and justice".

Just kidding, she called a Zionist conspiracy for which Yankee and Jew alike should suffer.

  • um yeah, He attacked the way UN members quoted his report, but he did not attack his own report like the US congress did.

  • Huffington Post: Goldstone Attacks UN Resolution On His Gaza War Report

Goldstone: "If this was a court of law, there would have been nothing proven"

How can you delude yourself like this and ever complain of close-minded bias?

2nd, 3rd and 4th hand accounts from people in the Hamas sphere of influence. Would you consider this evidence for one second if Israel were the complainant? Can you for one second in your entire life apply to yourself the same critical thinking you demand of others?

  • It appears so, Obama started off strong on the issue but is retreating faster then my hairline.

It's hard to say what's going on behind the scenes though, especially with the Iranian nuke issue. Perhaps Obama is going to try and leverage US support of a Palestinian state against Iran's nuclear ambitions. I'm not sure how important Palestine is to Iran though.

  • The unfortuante fact is that the U.S Congress and Senate and the Whitehouse is not in any way ready for anything other than unconditional support for Israel

  • He rejected the way pro zionists and pro hamas groups distort his reports , but he did not bash his own report. There is no reason to reject his report the way it is written, like the U.S Congress did.
