======

I filmed this 74J from "Ukishimacho Park" (Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture) - the south side of Tokyo International Airport (Haneda/HND/RJTT)
Date : April 3, 2010 (13:07 JST)
Takeoff from RWY16R

This JA8903 was one of "Japanese Domestic Type" of 747-400...in other words, it is "747-400D". "D" means "Domestic". But...JA8903 has retired on November, 2010.

Note;
All of JAL's 747-400 retire on March 1, 2011.

  • @jetfreak4 oh ok i thought it was the 300 series Bcause it has no Winglets But the Cockpit is a EUD...& Yes The B747's are kind of phasing out but there is a B747-8 that should b released in a few years i guess, The A380 is now the King of the Skies........

  • @TheFsJunkie That is a -400D. It's a version of the -400 except without winglets. JAL's 747-300s were PW-powered. This is GE-powered. JAL retired all their -300s awhile back. Sadly all of their regular -400s are gone now as well.

  • 108 viewer :-) Great clip!

  • B747-300 Series...

  • Sixth.
