Has anyone ever noticed how disturbing the closing credits to Rugrats are? First of all, why the red text? At least in western culture, the color red is not associated with very pleasant things: fire, violence, etc. And it's not even a bright shade, but rather a darker red. Like dried blood. The font's pretty weird too. Plus what's with the background? It looks like a photorealistic wall. It doesn't look like any of the character's houses either. It's spotty, and it looks old and decaying. Ugh.

And it's not just the color either, the font is strange. It unnerves me in ways I find difficult to discribe.

@Finkster5 Haha, pretty weird observations? Not sure many people pay attention to the font/background of the closing credits... All I know is that seeing the closing credits and background is very nostalgic for me - regardless of whether it "should" be interpreted negatively.
