  • He makes a mistake!!! He plays a 50's record on a gramophone!!! The 50's record has a different sort of groove. But I like his collection!!!

  • Hi not really a mistake, after playing about 20 records on the Victor 6 the location producer was looking for a tune to play in the background of the segment so they decided that this was the best tune for what they were trying to acheive, in the end it didn't make the cut anyway.

  • I sold my large Gramophone/Phonograph collection in the 1970s. The earliest was a 1894 Columbia cylinder key wind machine. My rare disc collection is still in tact with a 1897 Berliner being the oldest. All cylinders were sold.

  • "he's done such a great job and I am thorougly enthralled by it all. in 4 minutes he transported us through time, breaking the sound barrier."

  • Wow. Dude's only 28 and has a collection like that? He's either got wealthy parents, or he has one killer job to shell out the dough it takes to put together a collection like that. Awesome collection!

  • Don't have any gramophones, but I have a large collection of vintage music on my computer, ranging from the 1900s-1950s.

  • What is the name of the music which I can hear in the beginning of this record? I mean the violin piece with some soft piano arrangement - from 0:18 - 0:33? It will be great if anyone can tell me or can upload the very piece on YT!!!!!
