psshhh! you lie! That'd be great if it were true though.

I saw Femi perform over the summer and was nearly in tears I was so happy. He's really started to take on Fela's qualities as he ages...far less original more pop-oriented Femi, and so much more traditional Fela...it was so wonderful.

This music has got some serious grooves.

They had to cut this video short though, because his banana and berries falls out of those ill fitting aqua skevies. :P

While that may be true the other seen they were showing was a murder. It's called necklacing. Google it, it's very brutal. It happened in South Africa during apartheid.

Brutal, very. some say it's fit for drug dealers and gangbangers in the US. but so often things like that eventually get done to the wrong ones and become as sick as the racism that brought about the afronts. and who is willing to take on the judgement? ready to deal with innocents mistakenly killed that way? it's better to fight racism than each other.
