Nah I don't really care about top speed too much... it's more the acceleration I was after.

i turboed my 98' beanpie, and it gave me enuff power to achieve escape velocity from the earth so i could jump over the moon..then i added CAI, new headers to the pie crust, etc

Ok then, you base all of this off of a dyno, which even two same exact dynos will yield completely different #'s. So you record your "acceleration" off of a speedometer...which aren't not accurate to begin with...nice try though...tell you what we can sit here and make claims over street victories, down hill acceleration videos and street kills... or we could do what real men do. How about some time slips...

haha...yup 345 hp from the factory, watched on of those POS, dyno 260rwhp, with headers, full exhaust and a CAI...Talk about drive-line loss. Oh, and doesn't your shit weigh 3 tons???

Your shit is as much of sports car as a Abrams tank...And i fucking hate Rustangs, but not any where near as much as any POS new school mopar...

I've yet to loose to any hemi ram i have every raced. BTW, it helps to NOT put big 'ol chrome nig rims on your truck...you loose less power that way...

You're right. Too bad I don't have a HEMI Ram, that's a REAL racecar. 0-90 mph in 11.5 seconds with nitrous going down a steep hill. Everyone knows a HEMI Ram doesn't cut 0-90 in anywhere close to 11.5 seconds in real life without a 150 shot of nitrous. Wanna prove yourself, bring your truck out and race my almost stock '82 Mustang and watch me pull 8 cars on you. Keep making bullshit videos and talking trash.

Well the 60-90 time here is 5.7 seconds and my 60-90 time is 6.0 - 6.2 so yes, very close. Why would you HIGHLY doubt that a 2 door sports car could keep up with a modified truck? It only takes a few bolt-ons on a 5.0 to hang with a turbo SR5. Last time out at the drags I ran 14.40s on street tires with 2.2 60 ft times. With slicks my 60 ft comes down to the 1.8 range and my ET easily drops half a second. Plus I just switched to an electric fan which will get me another tenth.
