Many people have been asking me what Pepero Day is, so here's a short video for you! Pepero is a Korean snack that is similar to the Japanese Pocky :)

  • The animation in this video is hilarious. Good explanation too.

  • Awesome, Pepero day is on my Bithday :)

  • i donteven know what pepero is...

  • November 11th is Veteran's Day in America. It coincides with Armistice Day and Rememberance Day.

  • 좀 오해가 있네요. 전 남자인데 빼빼로 엄청 받았는데요?

  • @TheLaughsmilecry First off, jeongmal is probably the most casual one, as it is used a lot by young people. Neomu can also have the meaning of 'too much', so it is probably the most extreme out of the three. Also note that neomu can only be used as a descriptive verb, whereas you can say "jeongmal?" or "jinjja?" in response to something that is said. Jinjja is also synonymous with the English word real, for example if you were to say a 'real boy', in Korean you would use jinjja in place of real.

  • Why do the man buy Pepero for the woman first? Why not woman first?

  • Hi thank you so much for all the help with learning more Korean, i really appreciate is!(: I was wondering if you could help me further understand the difference between nomu, jeongmal and jinja. The uses confuse me so i was wondering if you could explain them to me, for example which one would be used if you wanted to say that something is really delicious? Thank you so much(:

  • kyeongeun had ppepperos when you guys did the korean snacks last year :-)

  • Lool, that was funny when she said "one one one one one one..."
