@wakeyphotter No what we were going to do was wlak from Pontefract to South Elmsall but I've heard that's about 7 miles away.

@MrGriser Wakefield to South Elmsall isn't walking distance, you could get a train there from Westgate though.

@MrGriser To be honest, I have no idea how far. Considering I was born in Pontefract (moved away when I was very young), I don't know much about it. I have walked across the town from Baghill to Monkhill, that took about 15-20 minutes, but that is all I know.

@MrGriser If your off for the trains, there isn't much there.
We went on the Grand Central service from Bradford and just waited for the next Knottingley train.
