  • ok whos playing with the plug..........lol

  • How 'bout you do NOTHING!!! I live in Florida, and sinkholes happen like earthquakes in California. Rebuild if you can, if not, leave it the hell alone! Don't worry about plugging a hole or reinforcing the ground, this entire state will end up underwater anyway. You're just delaying the inevitable!

  • american lakes fuckin suck

  • The authorities of the area are maybe too used to lying...but there is nothing to do. And the people who have built on this land are idiots.

  • @DG121480 hi, I'm from holland and I think that delaying the inevitable is a good thing if it has saved several hundreds of thousands of lives since 1953 (major flooding disaster in the south-western part of the country). but you're right though; our dikes won't hold out for eternity, I guess we'll become germans :P

  • gee thats a shame seeing all those rich people have it so hard. the gov should bail them out lol

  • @lilgreenthumb1 same thing in a town down the road from me in PA but our sinkholes is from the quarry that has tunneled under the entire town of Palmyra Pa. they won't admit it but I know old guys that have lived here their whole life and the quarry hasn't gotten wider, longer ,or deeper in over 60 yrs but they continue to produce so much stone from the quarry and most people believe what the state and local politicians tell them that it's bad storm drainage pipes causing the sinkholes

  • "the state owns the lake, but is not responsible for repairs"....yet, we have to have insurance, and if any of our property causes damage, WE have to pay for it. damn.

  • No wonder, The place is called lakeland

  • Never mind the waters gone - my house is damaged and who 's gonna pay for it? Love it - allways the most important things first.
