BACON, need I say more. This was a lunch stop on a dayhike and Giuliano, true to form broke out a solid one pound slab of bacon to roast over the fire.

@oldchemical It was salt. Sometimes Brazilian bacon is surprisingly un-salty. I'm actually surprised nobody has asked me that yet.

I blame Dr Oz and shows like The Doctors for all this irrational fear about eating what you like, don't eat bacon with each meal and you'll live to see your grandkids graduate from college, moderation is the key to everything.
