Sylvie's version is better and Sylvie's face also :-)))

@olivier14565 es Sylvie's version (which predates this one, I think Paul Anka 'gave' it to her first, and her version is superb, and more 'gutsy' and rock. I love it still!!

It's so sad that the "British Invasion" crushed so many up and coming singers of the day. Music styles changed so drastically from 1964 to 1965. There were a few who managed to survive. Lesley Gore was one of them.

This is quite a good version, but Sylvie Vartans one is a bit better, although Sylvie is a French (well Bulgarian born) singer she sings this in English, and somewhere is a video of her singing it with its writer, Paul Anka. Thank you.
Peggy was so very popular in the early/mid-1960s. She was in Japan a lot, and became a huge star there. So talented and pretty. Thank you, SirBB, for sharing so many great songs with us!!! Len-G

Could this have been Sting's inspiration for "Every Breath You Take"? Just a thought.
