Video of a hedgehog who likely has Wobbly Hedgehog Syndrome (WHS), as her mother and maternal grandmother were confirmed to have WHS through necropsies. Additionally, her sister, RoseBud (video also uploaded) is exhibiting signs of WHS.

At the time this video is being posted (November 2007) Kaylee is still active and eating well, but she no longer wheels much and spends a lot of time sleeping.

You can see the problem with Kaylee's left front leg and how it is turning inward and under. In my previous (confirmed) WHS hedgehogs, the problems have started with their rear legs, but for Kaylee and RoseBud, the symptoms appear to be starting first in their forelegs. Kaylee also has a hunched over posture when moving around, which is common in many WHS hedgehogs.

Once she dies, Kaylee's body will be sent for necropsy and the data will become part of the WHS Research Project.
