@MyLalinea No, Juliet would be taken to South Africa by her father, when he went home to England because of his divorce from his wife. Juliet would stay there with an aunt. This was done to separate her from Pauline so that she could grow over the friendship (which her father suspected to be a lesbian affair). They planned to run away together to the United States and stole valuable objects to pay for the fare, but this plan was not carried out.

@sweiland75 Oh I love Kate Winslet. ;o)

It's about the Parker Hulme murder case, truly happened in 1954 in New Zealand. Pauline Parker & Juliet Hulme, 15-16 years old, murdered Pauline's mother because she stood in the way of their friendship (or lesbian relationship, it's not quite sure). Director Peter Jackson.

I do not know this movie and I did not know that Kate Winslet had played a lesbian role. Outstanding actress! The video is accompanied by beautiful music perfect for each sequence!! Craig, a great editing!!!

I've never seen the film, so the "Shrek" - looking piece that comes about 3/4 of the way thru this vid seemed inconsistent, but I'm sure it's not with the tone of the actual film. You know what??? This TOTALLY worked for me otherwise; great composite of shots, really played like a music video. Really well done, Craig!
