Its sad that it is impossible for some people to accept that a male and a female who compromise and accept one another make for better parenting than any other arrangement - and by implication that no other arrangement ought to be glorified or respected, at least not without deferring to the superiority of the former arrangement.

@mshollyleeann I currently live in Los Angeles and lived in Atlanta for 10 years and grew up 40 minutes from New Orleans, so you can forget that small town crap. You show me a part of town with a high crime rate, high poverty rate, high unemployment rate, high (high school) drop out rate and i'll show you were the single mothers live (No matter the race).

Being adopted myself I soooo agree with Ann on this one. My birth mother loved me enough that she could put ME above her own wants and needs and give me a better life than she could give me herself! She was a wonderfully unselfish person, and I even though I don't know her, I respect and admire her for that. That took real love!
