The Rev. Jim Jones', et al. (The Peoples Temple cult) final speech.
An audio recording made on November 18, 1978, at the Peoples Temple compound in Jonestown, Guyana immediately preceding and during the mass suicide or murder of over 900 members of the cult.

@kyokogodai Even if that were 100% true, set in stone, and backed by every sort of evidence -- if you can accuse the dead so nonchalantly, you give your entire religion a bad name.

@8x13Wolf Why? There is no redemtion possible with them. They died over 30 years ago. They believed in Jim Jones and communism. Not Jesus Christ. They had no hope, so there is no praying for them that does any good. If this time we are in before Jonestown, then that is a different thing altogether.

BLECHHHHH. If I had to listen to his speech impediment for years on end, I'd go insane and off myself too.

@RicaeAndrews I understand... But the majority of the people did not want to do it! Jim's son said in an interview that there were, at the most, five rifles in the camp. there were more than 900 people there. They should have all overthrown the small percentage of people that backed up this psychopath! I do understand they were afraid... But if my children's life was on the line I would have at least tried to rally people up! That's just me tho! This was just horrible!

We are told that the cries of the dying children is due to the bitter taste of the "medication" , not because it's painful.
One of the symptoms of Cyanide poisoning is a severe headache. I don't believe that the sedative+Potassium cyanide poisoning is as peaceful as described. It's quick, yes, but so is Hydrogen sulfide. (The former smells like almonds and the latter as rotten eggs. Canisters of Potassium cyanide were located next to the bottles of sedative-hypnotics).
She is lying to us.
