A very short video on how to Seafoam a 1990 VW Cabriolet 1.8L 8V. Where to pull the vacuum hose, etc... Much smoother idle and the whole valvetrain is MUCH quieter now... woohoo!

  • Good video especially about not letting too much Seafoam get into the engine too fast as that will hydralock the engine and you will have a blown engine. The white smoke is the Seafoam burning, not crud. Crud is black. Good to see someone knows how to Seafoam an engine and how to follow instructions.

I hope someone will follow your instructions and not the instructions from nut jobs on Youtube who do it wrong.

You can blow your engine with Seamfoam if not careful. (Seafoam says so)

I love the "song" that the cabriolet makes. <3
