Me playing KORG SAS-20(Audio only).SAS-20 is the first intelligent keyboard made by KORG in the middle 80's. It's the ancestor of KORG i-series.

My right hand only played melody. Other accompaniment parts (bass, arrpegio and drums) are generated automatically. No overdubbing.

The song name 蜜柑水(Mikan-Sui) came from the image of Kitaro's early composition called 無限水(Mugen-Sui) . Just joke.

  • It came without cartridge. and I have already manual, thank you !

  • thanks for the demo...I got one today! pretty nice if you look in the service manual

  • @gretagrain thank you for your viewing and congratulation !

  • Very good music on a nice sounding retro keyboard from the 80's. At that time keyboards still had "character".

  • @sauermusicDE Thank you for viewing! I added sound effect because of the simple sound. But SAS-20 melody tone section has good character. It can't be replaced by the digital sound.

  • I love this! Beautiful song! I must try to find this keyboard. Thank you!!!!

  • @Gary5557272 Thank you for your viewing! I hope you can get the nice one.

  • I am looking for the SC-01 cartridge...I have 02 and 03...I imagine 01 had Japanese traditional styles or something since it was not released in the US. While you're over there try and find a Zoom 5050 choir pedal...sounds nice :)

  • Did your SAS-20 from Japan come with a cartridge?

  • @senmojib do you need the manual?

  • as a bonus you get a nice vintage chorus effect for guitar!

  • @senmojib yes...I am very excited. I am going to run it into my microkorg. Should be an interesting meeting of multiple generations of Korg oscillators. From the block diagram it looks like I might be able to get a separate out for the drums. This would greatly improve the spacey sound by allowing more effects processing on the melody section!
