Willesden Junction Station is where two London Overground's Class 378s services cross. The North London Line (Stratford to Richmond/Clapham Junc) is on the high level, the Euston to Watford on the low level, which it also shares with the Bakerloo tube line. After departing Euston, London Overground 378s share the track with the Bakerloo line from Queens Park, the tube stock terminating at Harrow & Wealdstone, with the 378s continuing on to Watford. Willesden Junction is also the point at which freight trains leave the NLL to gain access to the West Coast Main Line.
Hi, I'm not sure the amount of freight which passes through, but a considerable amount although it would change from day to day. From the North London Line freight trains use a chord which passes the low level station giving access to the West Coast Main Line, while other trains can continue through the high level station for lines either to south London via Olympia or the Great Western Main Line. These freight trains can originate from a number of places including Felixstow and Tilbury.
