This is Cryptopsy before it was known as Cryptopsy. This is a 1991 demo made when the band was known as Necrosis. Necrosis made four demos and this is their third demo they've made. This is the ninth track, and from the demo Realms of Pathogenia.

Lord Worm (Dan Greening) - Vocals
Steve Thibault - Guitar
Dave Galea - Guitar
Flo Mounier - Drums

Steven J. Robillard did keyboards on the album.

  • Sick demo, do you have the other ones and could you post a torrent for em if possible? I'd love to have some pre-cryptopsy cryptopsy

  • @Biodemon I do not, if I ever acquire them though (which is extremely improbable), I'll try and upload them though.

  • i've heared many talking about a track called "Ungentle Exhumination" by Cryptopsy (or Necrosis) but I can't find it! D:

    Please help!

  • @ThaThing1337x I never heard of a track called "Ungentle Exhumation" but I do know the EP with that exact title, which is by Cryptopsy. Hope that helps.

  • @madderbass

    You do? o:

Is there a YouTube video or something of that song?

Thanks for replying so quickly, btw!

  • @ThaThing1337x It's not a song, it's an EP, and on it contains no song called Ungentle Exhumation, it's just the title of the EP itself. It has 4 tracks on it, and was released before Blasphemy Made Flesh, and contains the songs:

    Gravaged (A Cryptopsy)

    Abigor

    Back to the Worms

    Mutant Christ

  • It's sad how many potentially amazing album tracks get lost with time. Like Cynic's earlier work? Amazing stuff, but then they decided to get much more proggy and had to ditch the awesomeness of "Lifeless Irony" for the awesomeness of "How Could I". Honestly I wish they would release an album like their early demos.

  • and now the epic quartett is dead...

  • @sic82 me too

  • @madderbass

Oh, I guess i have just misunderstood the whole thing XD

Some guy said that the scream in Ungentle Exhuminaton was awesome, so I though it was a song X(
