@teceyS3 Indeed. But now that we all know better, we can all enjoy the naivetity and quaintness of these commercials. My own personal favorites are the Viceroys (qv).

Philip Morris sponsored "I LOVE LUCY" from 1951 through '55, 'Landon'. After their sponsorship ended, Desilu was able to produce commercials for other cigarette manufacturers- like Brown & Williamson's "Raleigh" [through their ad agency Keyes, Madden & Jones]. That's Marvin Miller announcing these 1958 spots; at the time, he was also appearing as "Michael Anthony" on Colgate-Palmolive's "THE MILLIONAIRE".
