I understand what the artist is saying, but the irony is that he uses the same violent rhetoric that permeates the art form; the part that he seems to want to change. I appreciate the images that are used in this video and the mix and that he's using his music to get mainstream rappers to take a look at what they're putting out, and maybe he feels he has to use the rough language to get them and others to pay attention. I hope the message gets out, because hip hop didn't start out negatively.
