A Socio-Psychological Study: Part 7
The media influences millions of people, entire generations and societies, often from birth. Messages sink into our minds and when they are repeated systematically, can have a massive impact on our beliefs, behavior and lives. We need to make sure we are conscious of what ideas are slipping into our subconscious minds and make sure that any messages we ourselves spread (be it through music or videos etc.) don't repeat the same racial patterns.
This video study looks at justifications given by people trying to justify the racial imaging of females in the media and shows these justifications are in fact based on false ideas, misconceptions and a lack of comprehensive understanding about the way the human mind works.
* Video 1: INTRODUCTION
* Videos 2 - 9: JUSTIFICATIONS: The justifications some people make for bias in the media today
* Videos 9 - 11: ANALYSIS: An analysis of the impacts this has on our minds and society
* Video 12: IDEAS for the future
The aim of the video is to create a happier, more harmonious, more integrated and more cohesive community for all living in the West and the rest of the world.
ABBREVIATED SPOKEN TEXT OF THIS VIDEO:
20: "But the media corporations obviously use it because it works to sell their products"
After all the repetition, after constantly seeing it everywhere in the media, and constantly seeing it in a positive way, bleached blonde hair on women has now become a brand. Advertisers are repeating the bleached blonde brand because you, as consumers, have already been pumped full with false ideas about bleached blonde hair. You have already been told, all your life that blonde hair is - positive, happy, pure and angelic and everyone has learnt to have a reaction to the idea. The point is you will associate their product with your pre-existing beliefs and feel more familiar with their product.
21: "It's what the market wants"
The market will take whatever you give it. The market does not want some people to be more special than them, or more special than their family. People want to feel good about themselves, all people do. The Western obsession with comparing everyone, instead of enjoying our differences, is one of the major reasons why a lot of the people always feel so depressed.
22: "What's the difference if a woman buys hair bleach or buys hair dye?"
It has no relevance to the Western idea that it is better to have bleached blonde hair.
23: "It's a historical fact"
Some people bring up weak evidence of cavemen and suggest that blonde women were preferred 10,000 years ago. There are no historical records about hair colour, marriages or relationships from 10,000 years ago. No one can be certain about what happened or why it happened. But even so, believe it or not, now we are living 10,000 years onwards! Do we still have to show most of the women in the media as blonde and as better than other women? No.
Nature is nature. But the media is made by man. If we only followed nature then we wouldn't be human beings, we'd be plants. You might think that you evolved from a monkey, but I certainly didn't. And even if you did descend from a monkey, isn't it time you evolved?
The important point is, in private you can do what you like. But in public - you must show EVERYONE respect. This is the only way forward for a global society in the 21st century and beyond. Equality and fairness won't mean suppressing blonde women. It will only mean making the conscious effort to treat all women with the respect they deserve as female human beings.
24: "Brunettes are lucky because they have the social stereotype that they are better for marriage"
Women feel good if men want to marry them, yes, but first of all women want to be sexually attractive. You can't pretend you don't know that.
25: "You just want brunettes to be on top instead"
No. I want equality. When you start saying some are on the top, the rest of the people don't want to be at the bottom. So they try to push down. This creates a racial abuse cycle. Replacing the racism of blonde idolization with the racism of brunette idolization would be pointless. I am saying NO-ONE is at the bottom, because NO-ONE is at the top. This is the human right of all people alive today and the only truth that exists in a global society of human beings.
27: "You're just jealous"
I dont personally give too much of a damn about who prefers who. But I do give a damn when you try to represent women as having bleached blonde hair, because that is not a fact and as a woman, I don't deserve to have anyone standing over my head. Jealousy is defined as outrage because someone else has what you rightly deserve. Non-blonde women are equal sexual women and deserve to be promoted as equal women in the media. That includes ethnic women and women with natural afro hair. Female beauty should not only be for white women who bleach their hair.
why do you keep saying 'bleach blonde' hair?? what about natural blondes?? Lets forget the brunette fakes trying to blonde?? thank y'all!!

@PointPleasant11 because bleach is a commercial product that some people can buy with money. once they buy the product, the system says they automatically increase their feminine status. but of course, the whole point is that the purchase makes them superior over other females. hence these women cheat nature and then also dominate over the other women.
this is a real problem because the corporations are twisting social relationships. inequality doesn't actually exist between race.
