Apple hardly sold any copies in China. That insane price is clearly misjudged. America even blows a sure thing in China. No wonder China Now OWNS USA. USA can never pay back that huge debt. Warning: China, India, Japan, EU..dont lend more money to bankrupt USA. We'll never get it back!!

yeah, if you're smart, you go to Hong Kong. The $200 price difference can cover one way airfare down to HK and if you're crazy enough to pay $1000 USD for it, you can afford to go to HK and buy it there. I'm glad I live in the USA and only pay $300 for mine. I tolerate AT&T's contracts for lower iPhone prices...
