Ron Paul Comments on the 2008 Election CNN Aug.28 2008

When people ask if Ron Paul believes in evolution, support abortion, supports legalization of drugs, or support gay marriage, the answers to those questions are all irrelevant. Paul doesn't let his personal feelings about issues override what he things is constitutional. On all of those issues he would probably personally be classified as right of center, but what he would actually do about those issues would most certainly be classified as left of center.

He doesn't support abortion. He opposes it personally, but doesn't believe there is a constitutional basis for federal interference on the issue. He introduced a bill that would tell the supreme court that abortion is a state issue and that would effectively overturn Roe v. Wade and give states the right to decide the issue themselves.

Oops, yeah I meant he was pro-choice.

Ron Paul will never be the president of the US.

I'm a Canadian and I wish I could vote for Ron Paul, it would be an honour to vote for a politician of integrity. If he was president, I would probably want to be an American.
