Armenian President Serzh Sarkisian was greeted by thousands of angry demonstrators as he arrived in Lebanon on Tuesday to discuss with the local Armenian community plans to establish ties with Turkey.

The demonstrators -- men, women and children -- carried placards that read "no to the agreements" and "the blood of Armenians not up for sale" as they marched outside Sarkisian's hotel on the outskirts of Beirut, AFP reports.

Some demonstrators clashed briefly with anti-riot police who had deployed around the hotel, and a handful of people were lightly injured by batons.

  • (3:17) My compliments to her for her words, I agree with her because all Armenians around the world is a citizen of Armenia. There's no difference between a Spiurkahay and a Hayastantzi... BUT translating for those people who don't understand Armenian, Aram is claiming at (4:30) : "My dear rich Armenian friends, help me please getting richer just giving more and more money to me, and so God with bless you all. And you, poor Armenian people, FUCK YOU ALL!" :))) ... Go hell Aram!!!

  • @nuneh 1) link is broken

    2) please tell me what I lied about...

  • @MrDenocan you know nothing, and you make false statements to justify the lies of Turkey.

HERE IS WHAT THE WORLD (INCLUDING MIDDLE EASTERN HISTORIANS) KNOW!

    youtube*com/watch?v=VQjCOgiYmjY

everyone, including YOU, know the truth about GUILTY TURKEY!

  • @nuneh I am interested in history and know that majority of Ottoman/Middle East historians do not support genocide claims...

    Peace.

  • @MrDenocan only you are a historian. this is ridiculous. your turkic government is guilty and you know it.

    bye.

  • @nuneh Those three are not historians either...

They are writers... Writers don't know history better than historians themselves...

  • @MrDenocan

and Hasan Cemal? the grandson of the genocide organizer?

WHY DOES HE TEACH ABOUT THE ARMENIAN GENOCIDE?

    ORHAN PAMUK?

    RAGIP ZARAKOLU?

its sad that human beings can resort as low as you to protect their nation's filthy government.

  • @MrDenocan there is a difference between genocide & war.

you refuse to admit that you understand that for the sake of your turkish country.

until you put that aside, you will continue to deny truths that aren't convenient for you-- out of selfish reasons.

good luck to you in life.

  • @nuneh Taner Akcam is not an historian, he is a writer... Most of the Ottoman/Middle East historians do not support genocide claims...

I guess politicians and writers have better historical knowledge than historians themselves...

  • @nuneh Even if we call 1915 a genocide, first genocide of 20th century is Namibian... not Armenian...

    1) There was more than 3 million death in WW1, the number I gave you was civilian numbers... and 2/3 population of Eastern Anatolia was death at the end of Indipendence War... most of them being cvilian... You can't see us crying genocide to world can you?
