  • The Grateful Dead is the only group ever where you want to hear their cover instead of the original!!!!

Shakindave is out of his mind. Never been a combination like Garcia-Weir singing everyone's classics, not just their own!

  • Why can't we appreciate Weir and Jerry? I never got a sense of jealously from the two. Thats human nature, to compare things and people. We should all just relax and listen to the music instead of always worrying about Phish vs. The Dead or Weir vs. Jerry. It's so played out man.

  • Never did get to Russia. Miss Jerry more and more as the years roll onward.

  • This has got a pretty slick groove to it. Much different than JGB, but cool nonetheless! Anton's the man fo sho!

  • This was back in the day of Dave's mini-set.

  • hey its the bob & jerry show....!!!!

  • just a good ol tune done by jerry.

  • @dobi68 Disagree. The whole thing went downhill right after Summer of 90 / Brent died.

  • @itssooshal That must be why this video is titled Bob and Jerry on Letterman. Thanks for clearing that up though!

  • Ladies a gentle men, the first ever grateful dead live recording under 20 minutes!

  • all the live shows from 1991 until the last one were great, the band had a renewed energy, at least on the east coast (where i saw shows in 6 states) reaching a whole new generation of college age students. BOB AND JERRY SINGING THE MIRACLES, SWEET!

  • I'd say late sixties to about 73 were their peak. But then you've got shows like Barton Hall in 77. I don't know. It's ironic that people who love the Dead's music would turn fascist and dictate which shows are the best.
