In case some of you don't get it , let me explain. She is telling this man who was there to talk about energy that he should agree becaus some other black people do. Harry Alford just pulled a Clarence Thomas. To avoid investment in green jobs he's playing the race card,

just like Thomas did. Boxer MENTIONED the NAACP, trying to convince Alford.

She said: 'Here's this group of people you trust, maybe you should trust them on Green Jobs'

She DID NOT say: Trust this proposal just because black people are saying it

THAT'S "God awful". This will have the reichwingers laughing their asses off.

Even if you're 100% correct, what you said does not contradict what I said. My point is simply that Boxer is not bringing race into the debate because it is Alford who is there testifying on behalf of a race-based special interest group. If he were there on behalf of electric utilities, for example, Boxer could counter him with what other utilities have said in support of the bill.
