READ DESCRIPTON!

Its propably hard to recognize the problem from a video quality like this, but I'm asking you to watch carefully.

This has been a problem that seems to be in every game that I play. you cant see the texture shimmering from this video. The dynamic shadows are shimmering and act weird and distant objects are flickering. I have tried this with 3 different cards. If you may have a solution, I would really appreciate if you would share it with me.

  • same happened to me on alan wake for pc with my gtx460 with distant trees.

  • Would like to contact you as I have the same issue, can you post a way to message you?

  • I have the same problem in alot of games, anybody know a solution to this?

  • Happened with both my Nvidia and ATI cards. I've been looking for a solution, as it's made many games unplayable because it interferes with clipping as well occasionally. Are there any solutions?

  • @TheDuke1993 No, I e-mailed with NVIDIA support quite a long time, but all they really told me after all was that ATI has the same problem, lol!

  • Same problem whith gtx 560 ti ..

  • there is no solution to those "issues" it is simply how the game is coded. The shadows are switching between lod states at certain distances, the textures are probably not being filtered as heavily as possible. This makes still shots look better, but causes issues when moving around causing the textures to shift lod levels. Try moving the lod adjustment down one notch in CCC or NV Control.
