Cars are fairly reliable as long as they are serviced as scheduled. Would recommend getting a Certified Pre-Owned (per BMW) car...comes with warranty and more peace of mind...will cost a bit more, but probably worth it. If this is not an option, recommend finding a reputable, independent BMW shop that is familiar with servicing modern BMWs (i.e. 2000 and up models) and has reasonable service rates.

honestly, how is the maintenance for the 335i, currently in the market for a 2007 model coupe, but not sure if the maintenance will cost me more then the actual car.
