@D3mQN : Most people in the U.K. do non-full contact LARPing, which I'm sure you're aware of. This is based out of the U.S., but Dagorhir definitely welcomes the starting of groups in other countries. If you go to the main website it will tell you all about how to start your own group.

If you're doin single blues, why don't you put your arm in front of your chest like most people do?

Blocking that one hit can save your 'life'.

Also, she would have lost that first fight. You can't grab the blade of the weapon and not lose the arm.

You guys seem to just swing for the fences not necessarily take precise wrap shots.

@owolniak In order for them to treat it like real sword they should get a real sword and swing it around a little to get a feel for it. I have done kendo with shinai and bokuto, the latter being the heavy wooden one. Those things would be a great weight device to demonstrate how a real sword should weigh and move. Finally, your caps are fucking annoying. What is up with that? Is your keyboard broken or is some bug in your computer doing that?

@owolniak Sounds like someone has some issues. If you can't take some criticism then fuck off, seriously. I only mention this because they wield those sword like whips which is stupid. If they had a sword and shield, they would probably do the classics and useless shield bump and sword spank combo. Swords don't' work that way. I understand you can't use real swords so please don't keep misinterpreting what I am saying. What I'm saying is that they should use them like they are real swords.
