Presidential candidates in Paris? French presidential canditade recently used Kany West & Jay-Z's "Niggas in Paris" uncensored to accompany one of his campain videos in an obvious attempt to appeal to black french voters. How likely are we to get Mitt Romney to use a hip-hop song in one of his next campaign video? Maybe a Birdman's joint? "Money To Blow?"

As an African American (learning French) these comments are dumb. You guys are fighting over stuff in the past. You can't judge the past with morals of today, even post 9/11 world is different than before. Black music in France is nothing new. During America's darkest days, blacks found success in France. The actual lyrics for it's use here is a bit odd though lol. Africans are not taking over France anymore than Mexicans taking over USA. They come to both nations to CONVERT, not to change them.

Les vietnamiens se sont fait colonisés, sont une importante communauté en France, mais étonnement les français ne s'en plaigent jamais.

Simplement parce qu'ils n'essaient pas d'imposer leurs culture, qu'ils respectent le pays d’accueil, qu'ils ne se posent pas en victime, et parce qu'ils essaient de s'en sortir et de s'intégrer.
