My first ever ho layout (DCC). It was originally intended to be 4x8; but I settled for a 4x6½ - I did not know what I was doing then.

Just recently completed - all the structures and lamp posts will be lit by fall (the wires are just waiting to be soldered but cannot seem to find the time to do it).

I am a greenhorn to this hobby. Most of the structures are scratch-built (coal tipple, engine shed, yard office, fire and police stations, church, town hall, post office, track railings, bridge/wooden truss). You will notice I am just using Bachmann sectional track (black roadbed). Most track joints are soldered with 3 feeder wires within 10'. Estimated track length = 46'. Minimum radius is 18"; maximum is 22".

As much as I can I try to stick to steam era. But my layout is freelancing as well as my consists.

My apologies for a very poor video shot - just used my cell phone to upload the video.
