  • @samaz2u if i may, the recitations at the beginning are actually repetitions of the mantra cited at the end of the Prajna Paramitha Hridaya Sutra (the track).

"gate gate paragate parasamgate bodhi svaha"

  • @Nepaloen Less judgement? What country are you from? Shoudl we judge or experience judging as one of are aspects.

  • Int he very beginning what is that chanting called? It sounds quick but what is it and can I find longer versions of it and maybe prucahse a cd with it?

  • The music is by Imee Oii, who has done very nice new-age music renditions of many classic Buddhist chants. Unfortunately, she does not seem to be interested in selling them in the US (not at iTunes; mostly only used copies at Amazon.com; very high CD prices at her website). Fortunately, she does not seem to mind people posting downloads and YouTube versions.

  • very beautiful music

  • We've been all the way to the moon and back

But have trouble crossing the street to meet the new neighbour.

We have conquered outer space, but not inner space.

We've cleaned up the air, but polluted our soul.

We've split the atom, but not our prejudice.

We've higher incomes, but lower morals.

We've become long on quantity but short on quality by 14th Dalai Lama

  • Thank you...THE PARADOX OF OUR TIMES

Is that we have taller buildings, but shorter tempers

    Wider freeways, but narrower viewpoints

We spend more, but we have less.

We have bigger houses, but smaller families

    More conveniences, but less time.

We have more degrees, but less sense

    More knowledge, but less judgement

    More experts, but more problems

    More medicines, but less wellness.

  • Excellent! I just love it and replay it for dozen times! I don't know the language they sing, but I just want to follow them sing, interesting.

  • BEAUTIFUL , LOVE _/|\_

  • The first image you show here is so beautiful could you let me know where you found this. With much appreciation ~L
