French is a much more difficultt language than italian when it comes to sing, you're quite right about that. Nevertheless, you can here this aria perfectly sung with a cristal clear diction by french sopranos of the 60's like Jacqueline Brumaire or Suzanne Sarroca. Not available on YT I'm afraid.

@romondesbert I'm not even French, but I can hear that it's not letter-perfect, but...to be fair, I've never heard a person of French descent sing this in French. I'm betting it's much more difficult to sing in French than in Italian.
