NRC public hearing on NUREG 1437 Ace Hoffman October 22, 2009

"I'd like to ask Mr. Hoffman, on what basis do you categorize the NRC as 'careless'?"

So asks one of the first speakers at the hearing, because of a document I had passed out and submitted to the NRC that evening.

This event was a Nuclear Regulatory Commission hearing in Dana Point, California on October 22nd, 2009. The document being discussed is an amendment to NUREG-1437, the Generic Environmental Impact Statement for License Renewal of Nuclear Plants. My written submission is discussed in this clip, then the GEIS itself is looked at.

Albert Einstein once said,"Nuclear power is one hell of a way to boil water!". That's right! Everyone eats, drinks and breaths man-made radiation since the first atom bomb "test" in New Mexico, 1945. We ALL have a "pre-existing condition" which is being used as an excuse for theft and tax payers money pays for your own doomsday! All we can do now is minimize exposure to radiation! Pollution from nuclear power is the longest lasting, invisible damage to your DNA.
