this song reminds me of ancient pompeii and i don't know why but when they sing were baking bread i get the image of an old stone oven they used to make food with back then. when they sing of family and being happy it gives me this eerie feeling that the next day is the day when Mt. Vesuvius covered the land in ash and killed all the city people...and they had no idea....that's what the song means to me. that's what the song will always mean to me.

@tongue17 exactly.t more peoople need to shut their mouths and listen for a while. not every listening experience of a song is supposed to be an equal and same experience. not all songs are meant to be repeat-listened while driving to work. solme music is to be reserved for tripping (e.g., this song), others are meant for complete sober clarity (e.g., Sachiko M's Bar さちこ) or so stoned out of your mind (e.g., JLIAT's The Nature of Nature).

i find music that's the same in all contexts boring!
