They need an updated version of AC, made with all the SAME stuff but improved quality of life in game play like some heft ui improvement, graphics, input lag and recognition.

The concept of the game and gameplay is great and better than 90% of other MMOs out there

We do not need an "Asheron's Call 2" for those who seen that fail attempt at making a sequel that was total a crappy game without the same concept or design of an MMO..

While people tend to be nostalgic for it, it has not aged well.

The graphics are acceptable and the particle effects are par excellence. What truly holds this game back is the outdated interface. For example, it does not recognize mouse wheels for zooming and you can't use the mouse to move the camera.

If he can get past that, though, I think he and you will find it an enjoyable game despite its technical deficiencies.

It is not for everyone, though. Try the free trial.

Darkfall is here... only 4-6 months from release... Ive been looking for an AC replacement since 03, daoc came close and WAR was a huge disappointment, Darkfall is our answer, Just how AC was the underdog to EQ, DF will be the underdog of greatness to any of these silly games that call themselves MMORPG's. Giive me a break... Darkfallonline guys, go check it out!
