As part of the Academy's efforts to develop leaders of character, cadets participate in a week long training course known as 100th Week with Cape May Recruit Company Commanders, company chiefs, and Leadership Development Center instructors.

The program was designed to give Second Class Cadets basic skills to fulfill their role as the primary trainers for the incoming cadet class during the annual summer training program known as Swab Summer.
