Here's the final (5th) round of a recent MetCon bout I cobbled together. Notice that none of the exercise selections are particularly technique-heavy, and thus the propensity for injury under fatigue is next to nil.

  • Front squats are not for everyone - shoulder structure has a lot to do with the effectiveness and tolerability of the exercise. There are often weak links in any given exercise and it sounds like you would be better off avoiding front squats and opting for other choices.

  • hi, do you find front squats as uncomfortable as i do> No matter how hard i try the las thing on my mind is my quads, its the bar cutting off my air supply and digging into my shoulders that i feel.
