HD Amtrak on the Anderson and Piedmont.flv

This is a model of the Amtrak Crescent. The Anderson and Piedmont is a railfan outfit located in Anderson, SC at the end of the NS interchange track that runs over lake Hartwell west to Seneca.

This model uses a GE 7FDL16 (P40DC, P42DC), V16 turbocharged diesel engine. Both units started with stock Athearn AMD103 models. They were disassembled and the trucks and drive train was tuned up. A Digitrax SDH164D was fitted with the 28mm 32Ohm speakers. Unit 100 has an additional speaker in a water bottle cap enclosure. Unit 185 has a styrene enclosure.
Sound volumes are high =11. BEMF is high 128,80,15. Momentum is 30,20.
