This is my favortie song and I've never heard a better cover of it!!
One year ago or so I listened to ALL the covers of this song on Youtube and there was not ONE that was good enough for me. I was starting to think that Richard Ashcroft was the only one who could sing this song properly.. but clearly I was wrong!! ;)

Into an MBox which is basically a sound card that Protools uses. Effects I use are (and in this order) a Compressor, a De-esser, and a touch a reverb with the Hi Frequencies Cut. Hope that answers your question!
