Also, go to the Youtube search and type in Baltimore Mayoral Debates to find clips of this and other debates to be informed on all the candidates.

This debate was originally going to air on FOX, but the Stephanie Rawlings-Blake camp did not want it to air on fox and refused to attend a debate on FOX, instead she decided to go on MPT, which has less viewers then FOX. This forced less promotion of the event and with that less viewers. The other candidates changed their plans to allow for a debate with all the candidates. The debate was aired on FOX as a re-broadcast at about 11:30pm (August 29th) when most voters are sleeping. So, that is why I recorded this debate for ALL to see. Seems like politics has become about who has the most money to pay for tv ads, mailers and large armies of campaigners bought and paid for with your tax dollars or money raised by special interest. We can change all this with technology, at no time in our history have we been more informed about who is running with the aid of the internet.

The Mayor has made it known that attending debates and forums is not something she has to do because she is the incumbent. She has only attended three debates and the other candidates have attended over ten debates.

As a voter, I feel that if you were not voted into office in the first place, wouldn't you want the voters to know where you stand on the issues? Too bad its all a political game. I wanted to be unbiased in my comments, but I can say that attending the debates as a candidate is to me essential if you want to win the hearts of the voters.
