We put a crab in a glass jar and screwed the cover on. Watch Violet the octopus unscrew the cap and remove the crab. Here's where Violet lives:

I've seen octopi using coconut shells, opening jars, "playing" with cameras, going into bottles, and even using a jet of water to short out a light that was bothering it.
Hmm I wonder...
If someone were to put a large jar with a lid and a crab inside, and then leave the jar in there would it move into the jar and start closing the lid while it was inside for protection?
