@metalfrost Actually it need some tuning. The timming is to far advanced. And sounds like the valve lash is to tight. Need to back the rockers off about .030. And for God's sake put a Super G on it. You are never going to keep that thing tuned.. Other than that, sweet ride man.

Dude, Love the Bike. I've just acquired a 76 FXR on a stock frame. Sounds identical to your bike....Love that sound...I think I'm going to go home and ride....

i used to have a 1978 shovelhead, never had the patience to kick start it, stuck to the pushbutton.

Please excuse my ignorance, but I have a question about your bike. I know absolutely nothing about Harleys but I would love to have a bike just like this, or perhaps build one. Its a 1976 Harley Shovelhead....??? Like a custom FXE or FXR? What did you do to take it from the stock model to what i see now? Please message me back, thanks a lot! SIC ass bike btw, amazing!

luckily i bought this bike with the rigid frame. But every other part is pretty much custom by me and friends. FXR's are great bikes to start with. And there are badass bikes out there that still have a swing arm frame

how does that shock under your seat work for you? is it smoother than springs?

eh. they're pretty much the same. If you have the larger springs. Because of the single shock the single kind of rattles left and right. Honestly it's not that great. Maybe the double shocks are better?
