Rosemary Margan has retired now. She is a real legend of Australian TV! This ad was recorded in Melbourne, Australia, 1984. Check out the US version made in the same year - this is a video response to that.

  • lol classic ad, i almost remember the words for it word perfect lol! and at only 7 bucks you really couldnt go wrong lol!

  • @DeluxeReissue lol yeah i agree man i remember first seeing it back in the early 80's right up to well into the 90's, i loved it lol!

  • @regnarts79 yeh i remember the Nu finish car wash ad, the guys face was so shiny it looked like he used Nu finish to wash it!! "after going through the car wash 50 times the water still beads..." LMAO!!

  • I loved this ad. Also the CLR clear ad and the Nu finish car wash.

  • This ad was on forever!!! I can still remember it being on in the early 90s. I seriously think it may be Australia's longest running commercial - either this or the Vita-Wheat ad (the one where the vegemite is pushed between the crackers holes). I actually can't believe I'm here at 2.00am watching this.... I hated it when it was on. Plus my brother bought some when we were kids to wash his coins in and it fucked some of them up!

  • I tried using weiman royal sterling silver polish for CD's, it works pretty decently on light scratches but I NEED Brasso or something.

  • Great,thanks for sharing

  • Thankyou for sharing this! Gold!

  • I've only just discovered that she's the mother of Cathy Godbold! I live in the UK, just researching some old Home and Away moments.

  • "...even from deep crevices, and intricate patterns....And Tarn-off is absolutely safe..."

    THANX SO MUCH!!
