  • Yes, it's permanent. Check out Ursa Minor online - they do the conversions. The fabric is very tough so I'm not worried about it ripping.

  • Yes, it's better than a good tent, since it has a hard ceiling. Rain and wind proof. We did need to do some seam sealing as there was a little leakage, but that fixed that problem.

  • Is it totally rain and windproof? It rained and blew like CRAZY during my last camping trip.

  • Yes - it's great in the rain and has extra supports to be able to withhold wind. We did have to do a little seam sealing at one point as we were getting some drips through the zippers, but that solved that problem.

  • how much did that camper cost on that element PS.best video ever

  • It cost about $4000 - we think we're close to making up the cost with the money we saved by camping.

  • there was a honda in that? i didn't notice

  • Does she come with the tent?

  • Is this a permininant attachment. You can't take it off and put it on. It stays on your roof forever, and you just open and close it? So you can't ever use your sunroof as a sunroof again. It is now a perminant entry way for the tent? What happens if the fabric rips or something?

  • Hondas ROCK!!- used to own Volkswagens and had a bus. I will have one of these ECAMPERS on a new Element soon! I just can't pass it up! -now I need to invent swivel mounts for the front seats so they turn around and face the rear = "Honda House" I used to tow a 2003 Coleman Taos tent trailer 1,000 lbs, it was $5k brand-new!! I would buy one of these though because small+lightweightRV+4WD+HONDA= THE BEST RESALE ON THE PLANET!!!
