From the astonishing, one of a kind Dead Can Dance I chose the song "Cantara" off the "Within the Realm of a Dying Sun" album to add photographs to for an audial/visual exploration through some dark emotions. I felt this video suited not only the aura of the song itself but the mood of my life at the time of making this video. I hope everyone can relate to the video in some way. Enjoy.

  • if i ever see a woman perform a dance, to this piece, i will probably throw myself at her feet, and beg her to be mine, forever.

  • How can aynone ever get the idea to make music like this - an i mean that in all the positive and good ways:

It almost seems impossible for a human to make this music, it seems to transcend what we usually consider music.

And does it in a completely thought-out and highly controlled way.... gives me the chills (in the best way).

  • @worldwidehank I would.....

  • I took this Album to Southern Baja in early '90. Camped on a little beach near Toto Santos, where the Cal Greys Wintered. The Whales would come very close to the shore. You could see their eyes. I listened to Serpents Egg & Within the Realm of a Dying Sun All night.

  • @worldwidehank if you beg youll never get her full respect

  • Butchered English...need more coffee, lol.

  • I've first heard these guys when I was 12, 26 years ago. I've been a fan since. They were sold out in Germany when I was there and sold out, again, in Washington DC for their latest tour. I'll never get a chance to see them both perform live on stage together, her and Brendan. =(

  • I've heard of Dead Can Dance, but never actually heard their music until today. Utterly amazing. Question--did you take these photos? They're incredible.

  • Absolutely angelic music! Lisa Gerrard is like an angel on stage, singing for heaven!!!! The music, the feelings of DCD are Unique!!!

  • L'incroyable! merci beaucoup madame ou messieur!

  • @Phantasm2u... very cool, man... that would make me a fan... it's an amazing song...
