@TheDimebagdarrell A lot of good Americans play. This was hardly a scrub lineup. The fact is many of these teams are great. The Dominicans, the Puerto Ricans, the Venezuelans are all damn fine squads full of major league talent. Korea and Japan obviously play the game with incredibly skill. And let's not forget Cuba. Baseball isn't the NFL or even soccer...if you put two squads against each other on any given day any team can win.

no they didn't seeing as how us knocked them out... Japan wins bc they are not in spring training form like all the major league teams.. Notice how the only teams who made it to the final are Cuba- no major leaguers, Korea- no mlb's and japan who has a few mlb's.. It's because We are still in spring training and those teams aren't.. If this were in November all our players would play and would smoke any team.
