Shias has the same Quran which the muslim umma have today (see copies of QURAN published from IRAN). Shia believe in Prophet Mohammad (SW) as the the last prophet. Shia belive in 12 imams and Hazrat ALi (AS) is the first Imam. Shia declare in their Kalma that Ali (AS) is the successor of Prophet Mohammad (SW) without any intervention. The FOUR sunni FIQA IMAMS were students of Imam Baqar and Jaffer (AS) who are shia imams. So if SHIAS are KAFIR THAN WHOLE MUSLIM UMMA IS KAFFIR !!

Biological or other relationship is not the criteria on which a person is judged in Islam but on his CHARACTER. Wives of Hazrat Nuh and Loot (AS) will go to Hell (66-10). Allah even told Hazrat Nuh not to ask forgiveness for his son (11-45,46). Abu Lahab uncle of Prophet Mohammad(SW) will go to HELL (111-1 ). Wife of Firon is a MOMINA (66-11 )!!!. Who can be closer ASHAB than a son or wife or an Uncle! Shias ONLY respect ASHAB-e-Rasool on this critera.
